A manicure diploma is required before applying for this course
This 3-day course will aim you with the knowledge and skills to offer a variety of overlays such as fiberglass, UV gel acrylics and nail repairs.
1 day a week over 3 weeks. Students are required to come back after 2 weeks in order to sit a practical and theory test. Homework will be handed out each week and you are expected to build up a portfolio of all your work throughout the course.
Hours: 10am-4pm/6pm-9.pm

- Setting up your work area
- Client consultation and record card
- Contra-indications
- Product knowledge Acrylic
- Natural nail preparation
- Choosing a tip and application of the tip
- Blending, cutting, and shaping tip
- Application of Acrylic overlay
- Finishing the overlay
Week 2 – Day 2
- Recap on week 1
- Set up nail station
- Product knowledge / UV Gel
- Prepare natural nail, apply, blend and shape tip
- Apply overlay U.V. Gel
- Finishing overlay
Week 3, Day 3
- Recap from week 2
- Set up nail station
- In fills
- Soak off procedure
- Trouble shooting any problems that you may have en counted
- Nail Repair
- Check portfolios
- Marketing and pricing up your new service
